(MBN) Terms and Conditions
Welcome to the Muslim Business Network (MBN). By joining MBN and participating in its activities, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions, which govern membership, event participation, and interactions within the network. MBN reserves the right to amend these terms at any time, with updates communicated to members via email or our website.
2.1 Eligibility
Membership is open to professionals and business owners who share MBN’s vision and commitment to ethical business practices rooted in Islamic values.
Applicants must complete the membership application process and agree to these terms.
2.2 Membership Types
MBN offers the following membership types:
Individual Membership: For professionals or entrepreneurs.
Corporate Membership: For businesses or organizations seeking to enroll multiple representatives.
2.3 Membership Fees
Membership fees are payable annually and must be settled upon approval of the application or renewal.
Fees are non-refundable except in cases where MBN terminates a membership without cause.
2.4 Membership Benefits
Membership benefits include, but are not limited to:
Access to networking events and meetings.
Inclusion in the MBN directory.
Access to exclusive training, workshops, and resources.
Business referrals and collaboration opportunities.
2.5 Membership Responsibilities
Members must adhere to MBN’s code of conduct and represent the organization with professionalism and integrity.
Members are encouraged to participate actively in events and initiatives.
3.1 Ethical Practices
All members must conduct business with honesty, transparency, and fairness in alignment with Islamic principles.
3.2 Respect and Inclusivity
MBN fosters an environment of mutual respect. Discrimination, harassment, or offensive behavior will not be tolerated.
3.3 Confidentiality
Members are required to respect the confidentiality of any information shared within the network.
3.4 Prohibited Activities
Members may not use MBN events or resources for illegal, unethical, or exploitative activities.
Soliciting or pressuring other members for personal gain outside of agreed-upon collaborations is prohibited.
4.1 Participation
Members are encouraged to attend events regularly to maximize the benefits of the network.
Registration may be required for certain events, and spaces are often limited.
4.2 Event Fees
While many events are included in membership, some may require additional fees. Members will be notified in advance of any charges.
4.3 Cancellation Policy
Members must notify MBN at least 48 hours in advance if unable to attend a registered event. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur penalties.
5.1 Trust and Integrity
Referrals shared within the network must be reliable and in the best interest of the referred party.
Members are responsible for honoring commitments made through MBN referrals.
5.2 No Guarantees
While MBN facilitates the exchange of business referrals, it does not guarantee specific outcomes or the quality of services/products provided by members.
6.1 Intellectual Property
All MBN materials, including logos, content, and event resources, are the property of MBN and may not be used without prior written consent.
6.2 Media Use
By participating in MBN events, members consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional purposes unless explicitly stated otherwise.
7.1 Member-Initiated Termination
Members may terminate their membership at any time by providing written notice to MBN. Membership fees are non-refundable.
7.2 MBN-Initiated Termination
MBN reserves the right to terminate memberships for:
Violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Conduct that damages the reputation or integrity of MBN.
Non-payment of fees after reasonable reminders.
MBN is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from participation in the network, use of referrals, or member interactions.
Members participate in MBN activities at their own risk.
Any disputes between members or between members and MBN will be addressed amicably. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to arbitration in accordance with South African law.
Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
Severability: If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between MBN and its members.
